A quick word for those of us who are not familiar with the term Enrolled Agent:
A few years ago, I completed my training in Israel as an accountant.

In its classic definition, an accountant is a person who gives his professional opinion on the financial reports of a company. After discovering that this is an incredibly boring field, I quickly switched to taxation and have been working on it ever since.

Shortly after arriving in the USA, I understood that I have no intention of working with financial reports, and therefore had no need to obtain the local CPA certification (in spite of the fact that most people believe that the accountant has full control in the taxation field, it is actually not the accountant’s primary role).

So, I searched the highest certification in the US tax field, and discovered that that is Enrolled Agent.
